Also in pond A9 were at least 12 EURASIAN WIGEON (9 males, 3 rusty females paired with males). At least 115 REDHEAD were on ponds A9 and A10 (now connected as the A9/A10 dike is breached at its west end), with slightly more than half of these on A10. Also lots of COMMON GOLDENEYES, BUFFLEHEAD, RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS (36+), and both SCAUP on the various ponds. A LESSER YELLOWLEGS was feeding with a GREATER YELLOWLEGS in the channel just west of the railroad tracks and east of Salt Pond A13.
