I did manage to find 8 (maybe 9) TUNDRA SWANS along the southern edge of Salt Pond A9. These birds were slimmer than the many pelicans out there and lacked the large orange beaks - but I was sure thankful to the one that flapped to reveal no black in the wings, eliminating Snow Goose and American White Pelican from consideration! I may bike out there later, but just wanted to get the word out for those who might want to chase these birds. A very brief scan of a portion of the duck flock on the west pond turned up a male EURASIAN WIGEON. Mike Rogers _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
