A Harlan's Hawk was one of the numerous Red-tailed Hawks seen around the 
Newby Island landfill on Friday morning.  Down within Coyote Creek, 
adjacent Newby Island landfill, there was a single Baird's Sandpiper in 
among a group Least Sandpipers.
