Quinn at 585 Regalus, Livermore 94550. Alice called Evelyn Cormier (current OAS President),, who called me ca. 6 PM today, 12 Nov. 2004. The report included a checking with Ventana Wilderness at: Ventana Wilderness Society 19045 Portola Dr. Ste. F-1 Salinas, CA 93908 Phone 831-455-9514 Fax 831-455-2846 E-mail [[email protected]] They informed Alice (and whomever) that a Condor was "missing" and wasn't transmitting. Also, that they thought it might be north, even Alameda County. This bird may still be in our area. Good luck in locating such a remarkable remnant of our past.
