Both Monday, Nov. 8th, and today, Wed. Nov. 10th, I've had a WHITE-THROATED
SPARROW foraging around and below my seed feeder in my yard in central Los
Altos. My house is bounded by Foothill Expwy, El Monte, San Antonio, and
Cuesta.  It's a tan-striped form with the area in front of its eye not much
different in coloration from the tan stripe.  This is a new yard bird for
me.
