Also in this area: a SAY'S PHOEBE, WESTERN MEADOWLARKS, a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE, SAVANNAH SPARROWS, BLACK PHOEBE and a NORTHERN HARRIER. As we neared the power towers a Dark-morph RED-TAILED HAWK flew over. Much to our surprise, we flushed a male RING-NECKED PHEASANT. Stevens Creek had dozens of beautiful GREEN-WINGED TEAL, a few NORTHERN SHOVELERS, and a SNOWY EGRET, and we heard SORA RAILS.
