Our list of 46 species comes up far short of Ann Verdi's group which preceded us and Lisa Myer's group as well, no doubt. Lisa called our attention to the Blue-winged Teal and Common Goldeneye. Janna froze a Lincoln Sparrow long enough for me to get it in my scope, a life bird for me, ho hum for the rest of you. I'm still seeing the Loggerhead Shrike on the marsh posts north of Adobe Creek. We counted at least 230 American White Pelicans flying from Salt Pond A1 to the Flood Control Basin at noon. Perfect weather.
