Hello All -

Just a brief note on some birds seen at Almaden Reservoir this morning 
(Thurs, 11/4).

WOOD DUCK (64) - most were clustered in groups along the far bank.
HOODED MERGANSER (2) - a male & a female
COMMON MERGANSER (1) - at the lower end
OSPREY (1) - perched in a tree at the lower end
WILSON'S SNIPE (10) - on the mudflats at the upper end

Other birds included one Spotted Sandpiper and 8 Gadwall (uncommon for this 
reservoir).
