Sorry for the late report.  Friday afternoon, 10/29/04, I walked along San Tomas Aquino Creek near the Agnew bridge.  At a spot upstream from the bridge birds flew down from a tree that has branches hanging over the creek to enjoy an afternoon bath.  Among the bathing Yellow-rumped Warblers, American Goldfinches, House Finches and White-crowned Sparrows was a WESTERN TANAGER.  A non-bather in the area was a CEDAR WAXWING.
