I also got a quick view of 8 to 10 Goldeneye flying from the lake into the small pond located on the golf course (no time to pursue further). Most of my morning spent at the Alviso Marina, the EEC and at Salt Pond A1 (chasing goodies) was not nearly so productive. The pond at State and Spreckles in Alviso has become a haven for KILLDEER (Al Eisner said he counted 187 there on Sunday and I think he might have missed a few :-). New Chicago Marsh looks deserted.
