Yesterday was such a gorgeous day -- I spent the whole morning taking
pictures as Baylands. The gull population is building up at the duck pond
-- Mike Mammoser came by in late morning and said he had seen a
first-winter Mew Gull there (and helpfully reminded me of the field marks
for this plumage) but we couldn't relocate it, so no picture yet.

There was a male BLUE-WINGED TEAL near the path around the back of the duck
pond.
