Had a brief look at a Catharus thrush under the same tree. It was uniformly warm brown with less heavy spotting - I'm guessing Swainson's and haven't seen a Hermit there for a few weeks. About 200 RN Phalaropes were still on the salt pond. One landed on the island. A hundred or so BB plovers were way out in the marsh.
