My sister lives in the 4600 range of Hwy 152 in Gilroy right on the border of Santa Clara & San Benito Counties. The area is cow farmland & grassland bordering San Felipe aka Soap Lake.  There have been 3 male & 2 female GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES coming into the backyard for approximately 1 month, probably eating dog food.  There are also 2 WESTERN KINGBIRDS near the back of the property.
