Hi!
Ok, I'm excited!  Today, at 11:30am, while driving down Zanker Rd. in Alviso, I came across an unusual hook-billed raptor.  I have 8 pretty good photos on my website (in the folder Unusual Raptor).  Please look at these photos and help me to determine what kind of bird this is (pretty please!).
Unfortunately, the bird was perched on top of a phone pole near the bend in the road before the garbage dump.  This area is a top security area and is under constant surveilance.  A guard shooed me away within 4 minutes.  Luckily, I got photos first!!!  Take care,
