BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS arrived on Mar 29, the earliest in the last 9 years (prior earliest date was April 1).  Singing HOUSE WREN is still active at the southerly terminus of WREN Ave.  The single WESTERN BLUEBIRD that has been sighted almost daily near the bird boxes (close to Santa Teresa Boulevard) has not been seen for three days so probably left.
