While counting nests at the Grant Ranch GREAT BLUE HERON colony for SFBBO, I
was surprised to see an OSPREY fly overhead.  It didn't stop at the lake but
just continued on through.

Other birds included, BLACK CROWNED NIGHT HERON (1 adult,  2 immature),
AMERICAN WIGEON, GADWALL, N. SHOVELER, RUDDY DUCK, BUFFLEHEAD,
RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, RED-TAILED HAWK, COOPER'S HAWK, several SAVANNAH
SPARROWS, WESTERN BLUEBIRD, TREE SWALLOW and heard only BULLOCK'S ORIOLE and
PACIFIC SLOPE FLYCATCHER.
