Best view was from the fenced off extension into the marsh at State and Spreckels. I didn't see them both at the same time, but one is duller than the other. I thought I had one yesterday but they never emerged from the vegetation. There was a Wilson's Snipe present on both days. Today one flushed from under a tree near the intersection of State/Spreckles. Over at the EEC a Loggerhead Shrike dove into a bush like an accipter but came up empty. It flew off to hide in the cottonwoods. A single Mew Gull is still in the SE corner of the salt pond N of the EEC.
