We heard several raspy calls as the bird flew over although we never saw the owl. In addition to the "normal" screech of a Barn Owl we also heard "clicking". This clicking, which came out of the dark sky, was quite persistent and appeared to also be coming from the owl. I had never had the pleasure to hear this. Can someone confirm with me if this is part of the Barn Owl's repertoire? Is this a spring time vocalization?
