It was fairly quiet today but we managed 25 species. We heard the Pileated Woodpecker several times in the distance. Orange crowned Warblers were numerous. One member of our group actually saw a bright orange crown. We also heard but didn't see Creepers, Huttons Vireo, and several Warbling Vireos. It got birdy on the way back to the car with several Townsends Warblers, Wrentit, four Pacific slope Flycatchers.
