Hello,

Quick stop at San Felipe Road and Pacheco Creek this morning -- right on the
southern border of Santa Clara County.  One Pacific-slope Flycatcher was
calling just upstream of the bridge, the first I've heard this spring.
Northern Rough-winged Swallow numbers are quickly rising.

Also seen from this roadside stop: Snowy Egret, Mourning Dove, Anna's
Hummingbird, Downy Woodpecker (2), Nuttall's Woodpecker, Tree Swallow, Scrub
Jay, American Crow, Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Bushtit, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, American Robin, Northern Mockingbird, California Towhee,
Golden-crowned Sparrows, Brewer's Blackbird, Lesser Goldfinch and lots o'
European Starlings.
