Included were at least four RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROWS in Santa Teresa County Park (singing and becoming quite visible at this time of the year), two ROCK WRENS (also singing, a pair?) at the Anderson Reservoir dam face (water side), 4-5 NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOWS in the dam overflow channel for Anderson Reservoir, several (10-12) CLIFF SWALLOWS nesting under the bridge over Coyote Creek at Metcalf Road, another 4-5 NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOWS at Oka Ponds (Los Gatos Creek Park) and at least two WILSON'S SNIPE on the islands in the creek below the bridge at Oka Ponds. We also stopped briefly at Lake Almaden Park where we saw none but the "usual suspects" (and not too many of them). Take care, Bob Reiling . _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
