Today I decided to stay home and get the nesting boxes ready and while out in the backyard I heard the Swallows...I looked up and on the power line in the backyard were the returning Northern Rough-wing Swallows (3).....they have nested at the house for the last three seasons.... Red-shouldered Hawks were also on the creekside of the house....Junco's everywhere....a short visit by the resident Bewick's Wren....White and Gold-crowned Sparrows eating seeds and lots of American Goldfinch at the thistle socks.... The Oak Titmouse has been calling ontop of the nesting box in the backyard....so hopefully it will nest again in that box... Okay, have to go put up the Woodpecker box and make Humming bird nectar! Good birding and my best regards, Linda Sullivan _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
