They were last seen yesterday flying north along with all of the dowitchers. I have no personal record of seeing Ruff in the county after the first week in March. Latest was a Ruff at Crittenden Marsh in 1996. They might still be around so I'll keep checking. Besides some stilts, the only shorebird present was one lone dowitcher in the pond.
