I watched the Pied-Billed Grebe nest in
Adobe Creek over the weekend.
Sunday morning I could see and photograph at least 
two eggs in the nest during the changing of the guard,
but Monday morning when the bird left the nest, 
it was clear that the nest was empty!

Is this the act of some predator?
