Folks:

This morning, 6/20/2004, I walked the Stanford dish.  There were two adult 
GOLDEN EAGLES over the Stanford foothills, one carrying a ground 
squirrel.  The latter bird seemed to be in no hurry with meal and just 
wandered around.  Later, I saw a single VAUX'S SWIFT flying over the 
grasslands.  I assume this is a bird that is nesting locally.
