Today I got nice views of two begging juvenile red-shouldered hawks, as 
they awkwardly chased an adult from powerpole to valley oak to live oak to 
Monterey pine.The nest is in my neighbor's valley oak.

Lots of calling, with near-identical voices and rhythm. Nice backyard duet!

Moody Court, near Byrne Preserve and Hidden Villa, Los Altos Hills
