Loma Prieta proved to be both windy and fairly quiet; I didn't bother walking much above the four-point intersection. Wrights Station Road had a lot more activity, including a Pileated Woodpecker heard (and likely glimpsed in flight) about 0.5 or 0.6 miles down. Pygmy Nuthatch was also in the area. North of Hwy 17, I stopped briefly in the area where David Suddjian had reported Indigo Bunting, but there weren't any birds feeding near the road (although there were many finches heard from trees away from the road); no luck. Finally, at Sanborn-Skyline Park across Skyline Blvd from the main Castle Rock entrance there were (as is typical) several singing Yellow-rumped Warblers, and I heard one Red-breasted Nuthatch (in Santa Clara Co.).
