Except for a little wind, it was a beautiful day, and the early returns indicate a better than average number of species were sighted. Bill Bousman says that the average species total for the past 20+ years is 145, and this year we should exceed 150. I want to thank everyone who participated, and encourage others to join the ranks next year. Special thanks go to Ruth and Gene Troetschler, for once again hosting the countdown last evening, and to Bill Bousman, for his shared knowledge and experience, and especially for compiling the count. If you still have count forms, please get them to Bill ASAP. Also, please verify that ALL the information on the participant lists and party statistics is complete and accurate. Thanks again to all for making my job as count organizer a pleasant and rewarding one. Jack Cole --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Yahoo!
