At 12:00 pm today, July 24, Don Wyman and I saw the White-cheeked
Pintail sitting on the southern levee of the west pond at the Sunnyvale
Water Pollution Control Plant.  It had no apparent leg banding and
later flew quite nicely from the levee so no clipped wings.  It was
with mostly Ruddy ducks.  We were on the next levee south which can be
reached by taking the first left at the antennae tower, walking south
and then west to the second sign on your left.  Both of these signs are
on the west portion of the trail/road.  This is a beautiful bird.
