A request from Robin Leong is attached below. Bill On January 1, 2005, NSAS will be commencing on a five year Solano County Breeding Bird Atlas project. The NSAS Board of Directors would like to invite you to a kick off meeting on July 14, 2004 at 7PM at Building 505 at the former Mare Island. Drive on Hwy 80 take the Tennessee off ramp west to Mare Island. Tell them where you want to go at the gate. Drive to the tee. Take a right and the first left to the building with the date palms If you can not attend, please indicate if you are interested in this project. We need people with various skills, not only breeding bird atlasers. That evening we plan to start Ad hoc committees to complete this task. They might include but is not limited to: Area leaders, Data entry committee, publicity and public access committee, fund raising committee, atlas newsletter (publication will be on NSASs website), Data review committee, Maps committee and website jockeys. Thanks for sharing your bandwidth on this noble project. Best birding, Robin Leong PS This is a great chance to find the unexplored reaches of Solano County when looking for those breeding species! _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
