They appeared to be stopping to perch in the trees. When I returned to the area around 9 PM crows were still flying in. Instead of going back on 280 I parked in a Vallco parking lot off of Wolfe Rd. I could see and hear numerous crows perched in the tops of the trees. After stopping, many of the crows flew farther south down Wolfe Rd. I didn't have my binoculars and the light was fading so I couldn't determine if any were staying. I watched for ten minutes and then drove farther south on Wolfe Rd. toward Stevens Creek Blvd. I could see many crows flying about over Wolfe Road but didn't see any flying in the direction of Stevens Creek Blvd. Based on that I assume that they are roosting in the trees along Wolfe beside the Vallco shopping center - or there was a great sale at Vallco tonight that I wasn't aware of.
