Hi all

On Monday, 1-19-04, after missing the brief appearance of the Black Rail, my 
friend Mary and I traveled to Shoreline Lake with visiting birders Dave and 
Sharon (last name ??) and Steve Sosensky from the LA area. We found five GREBE 
species (EARED, HORNED, CLARKS, WESTERN and PIED BILLED) the two female BARROWS 
GOLDENEYE and the male hybrid BARROWSxCOMMON GOLDENEYE, a LESSER and GREATER 
YELLOWLEGS, SURF SCOTERS and various others. Helped out their year lists a 
bit.
