Take the Shoreline exit from hwy 101 and head towards Shoreline Park. I believe that the second stoplight is Charleston Road. Turn right here and drive all the way to the end, angling left into the parking lot there. Go past the building to the end of the parking lot and you will be at the east end of the marsh. Walk along the path to the left. I found the Waterthrush in the clump of trees just left of the "step up" par course function.
