The two female Blue-winged Teal that have been visiting the pond for a couple of months were with the male. This pond is just south of the observation platform and along the edge of the fenced preserve. Yesterday, two GREATER YELLOWLEGS and one LESSER YELLOWLEGS were in the flooded area next to the wooden walkway that extends out into the field. We also saw a RED-SHOULDERED HAWK on a pole in the fenced preserve near the southeast corner of the park.
