Further south in Hollister, I observed a Red-breasted Sapsucker at Park Hill this morning. This bird is reliably present in the park this winter. I have not observed them at this location prior to this, and I find no old wells in the trees around the site. Two Tundra Swan passed overhead as I drove into work on San Felipe Road at about 8:50.
