Well, I finally found the two Ferruginous Hawks (county list #248) and they were a treat. One was preening and the other hunkered down in the field on Richmond Avenue. In the field were four Great Egrets eating and a Turkey Vulture also dinning on something. Lots of Kestrels, Sharp-shinned and Red-tailed Hawks in the area. Thanks for the great directions Grant...they were super.... I stopped at Calero....but no goodies for my list......will try again for the eagles.... Wishing you all good birding and my best regards, Linda Sullivan _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
