Howdy Sbbers....

Well, I went to check out the colony at Vasona yesterday and today...not only 
is the nest being rebuilt but he has found a mate.  Lots of fighting over 
Nest 1....Nest 4 is incubating and the other are all paired off just sitting in 
their nests.

While at Vasona today....I went in search of the Anna's Hummingbird nest with 
two eggs (a friend told me about it yesterday) but I couldn't find it...will 
try again this weekend... I did count 9 pairs of Canvasbacks in the 
lake....Also, the Red-shouldered Hawks were chasing a Red-tailed Hawk out of it's 
nesting tree....Lots of Western Bluebirds today too....
