We also saw other favorites: COMMON MOORHEN, CINNAMON TEAL, GREEN-WINGED TEAL, AMERICAN KESTREL, NORTHERN HARRIER, and loads more. A COMMON RAVEN flew to a power tower carrying sticks to a nest where another raven was waiting. At Shoreline Lake we saw EARED GREBE, HORNED GREBE, SURF SCOTER, and a beautiful COMMON GOLDENEYE. We didn't see the hummingbird nest in the pine by the bridge, and I was curious if anyone knew what might have happened to it. Could last weekends storms have blown it out of the tree? Or would the hummingbird dismantle the nest and move it elsewhere (or reuse materials)? Thank you, Karen DeMello Mountain View _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
