At 5:45PM I went up the Creek Trail to the Pipeline Trail, rejoined the Creek Trail for a short hop and turned up the Grapevine Trail, returning over Elephant Mtn. via the Hostel Trail. I had 5 Western Screech-owls, 2 Northern Saw-Whets, and a Barn Owl, the last directly over the farm as I returned at 7:45PM. Actually all 3 species were represented on the farm proper as I finished up, as there was a WESO directly in front of the main (Duveneck) house, and a Saw-whet over the White Barn. Other than the main farm, the next best spot was the Grapevine/Creek Trail junction, where 2 WESO and the other Saw-whet were calling simultaneously at one point. --Garth Harwood _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
