La Honda is just off Skyline Boulevard and Hwy 84 and is typical oak woodland and grassland habitat with a view of the ocean. The Open Space district requires a permit to visit, and it doesn't get many birders or hikers. So ... it will be an adventure! I'm an average hiker, so this won't be a race and I intend to have fun.
