Even the egrets agreed, as none came over to forage on the shore side of the small wooden walkway which parallels the road. I was there about 45 minutes on either side of the high tide, and no Black Rails surfaced during that time. Two Wilson's Snipe were skulking in the marsh off of Charleston Road this afternoon, near the volleyball net with the blue trim.
