Mid-morning, at Ed Levin CP, Dean Manley and Matt O'Brien had seen the LONG-EARED OWL pair and showed me where they were. I walked downstream along San Tomas Aquino Creek, below the Agnew bridge, to the pond at Great America and found PALM WARBLER still there. It was foraging in the bottlebrush furthest north. A visit to the Canada Goose flock at Lake Cunningham provided three CACKLING GEESE. Two OSPREY were over the Parkway Lakes. An adult FERRUGINOUS HAWK was along Richmond near Santa Teresa in the Coyote Valley. No sign of the Bald Eagle at Calero Reservoir, but I think this bird often moves further to the west and uphill after boaters get on the reservoir.
