Dotty Calabrese Dear Dotty and SBB, I've just gotten around to looking at data from the Palo Alto CBC (45 years) and San Jose CBC (50 years). There is no significant population trend for Red-breasted Sapsucker for the entire record or for the last 20 years. Numbers are highly variable from year to year.
