Howdy SBBers.....

Wow, its been really birdy here at Rinconada Hills..... Yesterday I had 22 
Pine Siskins at my thistle feeder (had to add two more).  Lots of American and 
Lesser Goldfinch fighting for spots on the thistle socks... A Bewick's Wren 
makes it visit everyday as well as the Junco's, Gold-crowned Sparrows, Oak 
Titmouse, female Nuttall's, Chickadees, Mourning Doves, Spotted and CA Towhees.... 
The Red-shouldered hawks are calling to each other every day and the male is 
just beautiful....hope they nest here....

I haven't seen any Nuthatches which is surprising since I had them just a 
mile away in Saratoga...

I am going to check out the lake today to see if anything new has join the 
already Coots, Pied-billed Grebes and Mallards...
