Along with the usual group of Lesser Goldfinches at my thistle/niger feeders
this morning (Dec. 7) , I had 5 American Goldfinches, and one PINE SISKIN.
This is the first Pine Siskin of the season I've seen in my yard, and the
first one I've had for 3 years, seeing none the last 2 years.   It seems
that it's always after a rain that both the American Goldfinches and Pine
Siskins appear.
