I saw it Saturday, but I know others who would like to see it. All, Mike Feighner asked me a good question (I also was fortunate to see the bird on Saturday) and I thought that I would forward my answer to SBB. As far as I know there have been no sightings since about 11:30 Saturday morning (alas there also have been no "negative sighting reports" on this very rare bird (at least in Santa Clara County) on SBB. As far as I know at one point there were upwards of 20-25 birders looking for the Harris's Sparrow on Sunday. (All of this information is second hand and as such is subject to correction.) Maybe some even looked today? Hopefully this very secretive bird will be re-found, if not, it's important that those who look but do not find the bird say so on SBB. It's almost as important to report that a rare bird was not found as it is to report that it was found as it allows people to make decisions about how they will spend their hard earned and valuable, birding time.
