Birders-

The Red-throated Loon was at Calero reservoir this morning at 9:45 am. It was 
near the dam at the N or NW end of the reservoir, not the dam near the road.  
It was a 15 minute walk from the picnic area to where I was able to get a 
scope view of it. After 10 minutes a boat came by and the loon flew S or SW, 
landing near the 3 white bouys. Where I first saw it and where it landed are not 
visible from the boat launch area, but the 3 bouys can be seen from the picnic 
area N of the parking lot. A couple of Say's Phoebes and Spotted Sandpipers 
were seen on the way out and back.
