Good evening SBBers....

I did a quick loop around Vasona today and was thrilled to see that four 
Great Blue Herons were hunting for food and one GBHE was standing on a nest in the 
island on the lake....I think one of the other herons should tell him to go 
to the Colony that I monitor!  Lots, of Snowy Egrets (12), as well as 
Black-crowned Night Herons....10 adults and 8-10 juveniles.... Great Egrets numbers 
were also good, 6-8.  6 Killdeer were squabbling amongst themselves....

Lots of American Goldfinch feeding in the trees behind the boat launch.  
Other than that it was quiet.....
