This was at the short stretch along Los Gatos creek between the airplane in the play area and the Vasona Park rail road bridge. Other birders there mentioned that it hadn't been seen all of Saturday. However, when I checked the N. Cal. Birdbox today morning, there was a report of the bird showing up just downstream of the rail road bridge at 7:40PM. So today 8/15 I got to the rail road bridge at 7:20PM. Some other birders were already at the bridge and just shortly afterwards Gary from Half Moon Bay spotted it on a dead overhanging branch just downstream from the bridge. It then flew further downstream to the most distant rocks visible from the bridge. By the time I left at 7:50PM, it had moved back and forth between these rocks and the bridge a couple of time, once providing great close looks as it perched on some bamboo-like overhanging vegetation just downstream of the bridge. Jana Pauser was also there and mentioned that at 11:15AM the bird had been just south of the Blossom Hill Rd. bridge.
