The Louisiana Waterthrush was found by a group of 5 or 6 birders at about 2:30 this afternoon approximately 100 yards south of the railroad bridge across the creek in Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos. It was a cooperative effort with Van de Pluym (please excuse the spelling) slogging down the middle of the steam and guys working along either bank. It was like a military action from some old Viet Nam movie.
